Introduction

Physiotherapy is a dynamic profession with an established theoretical & scientific base and widespread clinical applications in the restoration, maintenance, and promotion of optimal physical function. This encompasses physical, psychological, emotional, and social wellbeing.

Krishna School of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation offers regular full time Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) Course since AY 2014-15 with intake of 75. Also offers Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) with total intake of 12 in three Specialities since AY 2019-20.

Krishna School of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation is approved by Government of Gujarat and recognised by Gujarat State Council for Physiotherapy (GSCPT) & Indian Association of Physiotherapist (IAP).

Departments

It has four departments and five laboratories which are fully equipped with advanced instruments like EMG, NCV, Dynamometer, Overhead Harness System, Balance System,  Biofeedback Unit, PFT, TMT, BLS mannequin etc.

Program Offered

Innovative Teaching and Continuous evaluation

Teaching Learning method is focused on Students – Centred Learning which is broadly encompasses methods of teaching that shift the focus of instruction from the teacher to the student.Practice of unique Continuous Cumulative Evaluation System (CCES) for progress monitoring of the students.

Krishna School of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation facilitates student’s participation in curricular, co-curricular and extracurricular activity at Regional, State & National level competition.

Collaboration

Krishna School of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation runs two OPDs and have MOUs with 10 Multi-speciality and Super speciality Hospitals across Vadodara where students explore their clinical knowledge.

Publications

Faculty have published more than 40 articles in various national and international journals.

Award and Achievements

BITS Institute of Physiotherapy (Now, Krishna School of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation) has won Best Physiotherapy Institute in Gujarat and Best Physiotherapy Institute in Gujarat for Industry Interface, 2018 by CEGR, New Delhi.

Ms. Shruti Pandey, Alumni (Batch 2014-15) secured first rank in all four years in university examination and achieved GOLD Medal.

Faculties of Krishna School of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation have won awards for significant contribution in the field of Physiotherapy like Physio excellence award, Best Academician award, won in paper and poster presentations in various national and international conferences.
