Gujarat State Government Sponsored Technical Competition Hackathon 2022 Starts at KPGU University

The Regional Round of Hackathon 2022 has been organized on 7th and 8th October 2022 by the Technical Education Department of Gujarat Government at KPGU University (Babaria Colleges) running Ayurvedic, Engineering, Physio, Pharmacy, Science, Arts and Commerce courses at Varanama near the city.

Hackathon competition provides a platform for students to innovate. In this competition, 154 industry problem statements of more than 500 industries of the state will be put up for solution. In this competition, participating students from Sumandeep College, Shri B. K. Shah Medical College and Research Centre, Parul University, Sigma College, Babaria College, Tim Lease Skills University, Navjivan Science College etc. will work continuously for 36 hours to solve this problem.

In this competition topics like software, hardware, pharmacy, management, electronics, civil, mechanical, nursing, biomedical etc. industry problems like best industrial boiler from waste, knitting management system, face reader for anganwadi students, web portal for women sexual harassment at workplace etc. will be addressed by  students. Nodal Officer Shri Satyam Panchal, Venue Incharge Shri Ashokbhai Patel, Jury Members, Academic and Industry Mentors were present in this competition. 60% of the country’s population is under 35 years of age. The President of the organization Shri Jagdishbhai Patel emphasized on making them skilful and industry ready.
