Introduction
KSPSR is a constituent school of KPGU offering undergraduate, postgraduate & Doctoral study programs which are approved by PCI, AICTE and University. The school is situated in a green and clean campus of Drs. Kiran & Pallavi Patel Global University (KPGU) located on the outskirts of the cultural capital (sanskarinagari) of Gujarat state, Vadodara. The university campus is very easily accessible by the university bus services that ferry students and staff from Vadodara and Bharuch. Our program emphasizes communication skills, problem-solving ability, and a collaborative approach to prepare a pharmacy graduate who can be an important link in research and as a service provider in healthcare industry. The innovative curriculum followed is as suggested by the apex Pharmacy Body of India, Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), Delhi. The innovative curriculum integrates foundational knowledge, required for grasping concepts useful to fuel the research aspirations of students and industry, with practical sessions which serve to impart lab skills. The B. Pharm program in the school has been accredited by the prestigious National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi for the period of 3 years from 2019-2022.

The institute has set up an advanced Central Instrumentation room and Machine room. The modern and state of art instruments are integral part of Research & Innovation which provide platform for inter departmental research activities.

Innovative teaching and Continuous evaluation
The teaching-learning process is regarded as crucial to achieve the desired goals and objectives and enrich the overall system of education. At KPGU various Innovative teaching methods are adopted such Multimedia Learning Process, Mind Map Workshops, Seminars and Guest Lectures, Closing recap, Case Studies and Group Discussions and Simulation Technique.
As a part of continuous evaluation process, each student is assigned a mentor who guides and assists him in understanding the requirements. For improving the academic performance of weak students, tutorials/assignment/regular test are scheduled on revising the finished syllabus Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown, college opted for online classes’ conduction and continuous evaluation is continued even through online platforms such as Google meet & Zoom app.

The faculty members are enthusiastically involved in the research activity carried out at the institute. The institute has received grants for the research projects from national funding agencies. The research projects grants received from Government agencies like AICTE, DST, GUJCOST, GSPC SSIP, SOIC and private industries also.
Publications
The Institute believes in the spreading of scientific knowledge in terms of Research publication to make the information available to the society and the scientific community. Faculty members and students have published significant number of high-quality research and review papers in prestigious national and international journals with good impact factor which are listed in Scopus and Web of Science. Papers are published in the areas of interdisciplinary topics in pharmaceutical sciences, especially focusing on advanced pharmaceutical research and technology. Papers are published by the publishers like Wiley Online, Elsevier Publisher, Taylor and Francis, PLOS ONE, Springer, Bentham Science, BioMed Central, etc.

The Institute of Pharmacy, since its inception in 2005, has been bestowed various prestigious awards. The remarkable performances and collective efforts of all the stakeholders have kept the banner flying high with promising achievements every following year.
Results
The superlative education provided by the institute has consistently fetched extraordinary results as well as laurels to the institute. Institute is ranked among the top 10 institutes in GTU. Students also manage to perform splendidly in GPAT exams.
Placement
The Office of Placement at KPGU facilitates the job placements for all students enrolled at the University. Students who wish to take up employment after their studies need to register their names. Assistance is provided for off-campus and on-campus placements. Students of the past have been successfully placed in areas like R&D, F&D, ADL, Pre-Clinical/Clinical research, QA, QC, RA, Production and Pharma marketing also. KSPSR has students placed in various national and multinational pharmaceutical/CRO/Research labs etc.
